In a similar manner, Proxy Set ID ‘2’ is configured for the WAN-side of the MSBG. As shown

below, the Proxy Address is configured with the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the

Integra Telecom call agent. This information is provided by Integra Telecom. It is important to

note that an IP Address cannot be used in this parameter.

In this case the value entered is: ‘proxy1.integravoip.net.’ The Transport Type is always set to

‘UCP.’ The Proxy Keep Alive parameter is set to use the ‘Options’ messages to the call agent.

There is no load balancing, hot swap, or redundancy provided. In keeping with the naming

convention established, this Proxy Set is assigned to SRD Index ‘2.’
