Again, below the SRD Table is the SIP Interface Table. In this case, the The Network Interface
parameter requires manual entry of ‘WAN.’ The Application Type of ‘SBC’ is selected from the
drop down menu options.
The UDP Port for SIP Signaling must always be entered as ‘5060’ for the WAN-side of the
MSBG. This is the well known and default port number for this purpose. Note that TCP-based
and TLS-based SIP messaging are not supported on the Integra Telecom network. Only UDP
traffic will be recognized.
The SIP Interface Table is somewhat redundant to the lower portion of the above section
configuration pages. The necessary SIP Interfaces may be provisioned in either place. The data
fill is the same if the entries are created here or previously. This page provides a nice overview
of the SIP Interfaces in one convenient place.
This section specifies the configuration for the IP Group Table. Two IP Groups must be
provisioned in the MSBG.
The first IP Group configured is for the LAN-side. Index value ‘1’ is selected from the drop down
menu. The type is set to ‘Server’ in the Common Parameters field. The Description field also
serves as the object name throughout the MSBG. Therefore, a mesningful description will be
helpful when completing the MSBG configuration. The Proxy Set ID is set to a value of ‘1.’ The
Media Realm is configured to use ‘LANRealm.’ The remaining values in the upper and lower
