SIP Message manipulations are mandated in order for the Lync to properly communicate with

the Metaswitch call agent. A summary of the five manipulation rules required is shown in the

screen capture below.

In order to provide the details needed for proper configuration, the following five tables are

shown. This is a copy-and-paste opportunity for configuration of the header manipulation rules.

Note that the last table with Index ‘5’ must be configured with the customer’s SIP account name

as provided by Integra Telecom. Below the data fill sections is a summary of each header

manipulation’s purpose.
